26 weeks

Well 26 weeks today and starting to get pretty uncomfortable. But other than that everything is pretty good. I feel like I always bite peoples head off, lol..I hate feeling so snappy. 98 more days to go !! So exciting, i cant believe I have come so far, I hate living in this small apartment. I want my kids to have their own room with painted walls and all that. We found a house for rent so we are going to check that out next week. It's 4 bedrooms and they also want to sell it so we may be interested in buying it also, Plus it is close to the schools. So my fingers are crossed for that :) My friends baby that is 11 months old just got diagnosed with Luekemia last night and my heart really breaks for her. That is any parent nightmare and I just pray to god that he pulls through fine. So if you could say a prayer for him that would be nice :) Well I guess that it till next time...

Dr. appointment - 24 weeks

I had a dr appointment today and every thing looked good with the baby her heart beat was 140-150 bpm so it was perfect.... my blood pressure was perfect, and at my next appt. in 4 weeks I have my diabetic screen which I am sure I will pass because I have been eating pretty healthy. I gained 9 lbs in the past 8 weeks so I am up to the weight I was at the beginning of my pregnancy, I was so sick that i lost weight, So I am at 0 weight gain for the pregnancy. My goal is 1 lbs per week and I will come out pretty good in weight.. Our goal was to only gain 15- 20lbs with this pregnancy since I gained a whopping 50lbs when I was pregnant with Blake and I was heavier at the start of this pregnancy than I was with him, So it is looking good so far, I am proud of myself for sticking with my goal :) Just now it will be even harder to keep it up these last few months.
We went to walmart last night and they already had christmas stuff put out !! It just got me really excited because I am due only a week and a half after christmas so it really hit me that it isnt that far off !! I have nothing ready, I barley have any cloths for her.. but that will change soon since my family loves to shop and my baby shower is in october :) These last few months will really fly, this month ( 2 weeks ) is our 2 year wedding anniversary, and then next month is my baby shower and then halloween which Blake will go trick or treating for the first time ! Then it is thanksgiving, then Blakes 2nd birthday, then christmas, then Baby !! busy busy busy ! will not have any money left by the time new years comes ! But I am really excited, we really cant wait for her to come. I dont think Blake will pay much attention to her once she comes since he is always so busy with his own toys all the time, I think he will care more once she can actually play with him..... but I will sign off for now, blake is busy watching Barney and playing with his trucks so i better get some things done :)

Nesting

I feel like I am nesting ! It is crazy I am only 23 weeks and feel like I need to get everything done like she is coming tomorrow or something, haha... This is my favorite time of the year and it is so beautifull outside so maybe that is why, I just wish we were in our own house instead of this little apartment. but oh well, we will probably be stuck here for awhile longer anyway so may as well get settled in for the long haul. We are going to ask our landlord if we can paint, which I am sure we will be able to because last year we a painted a bedroom and she didnt care.. So anyway, I wish I could be nesting all the time ! :)

23 weeks pregnant and intro :)

I am 23 weeks and 4 days pregnant today and I am due on January 4th 2008. This is my first post on here so I will bring you up to date. I found out I was pregnant on April 30th 2007 and couldnt be more excited ! We have a 20 month old son named Blake and he will be 2 years old when this baby is born. We found out on August 25th 2007 that we are having a Baby girl !! So we are super excited about that. We are keeping her name a secret form everyone until she is born :) If you dont know me my name is Shannon and my husband's name is Adam. We met in 2003 at the labor day fair in my little town, I was 15 and he was 19. We made a connection right away and have been best friends, and in love, ever since. Of course we have had the ups and downs through the years as most couples do but we are stronger than ever now :) I got pregnant with my son Blake when I was 17 years old and a junior in highschool, and despite what people think I dont regret it at all. I know that my soul purpose in life was to be a mother and I am doing what God has planned for me and I wouldnt have it any other way. My son and my husband are my life and so will this little on ewhen she gets here :) We plan on having more kids and have always wanted a big famliy, but at the moment am feeling quite complete with a son and a daughter on the way :) ( + 2 dogs ) We live in a small apartment in a small rural town in Wisconsin. We hope to be into a house very soon and hopefully before this baby comes. So far this pregnancy has been pretty good aside from the extreme morning sickness in the beginning :) She kicks like crazy in there and Adam felt her for the first time the other day :) I have an anterior placenta ( a front placenta ) with this pregnancy so it has taken longer to feel all the movements like I did with my son, but it has really caught up and is awsome right now :) This is the first of many posts onthis blog, I plan to keep up with this reglaurly.
